The BUSN package comes complete with a unique stock market project that instructors can utilize to reinforce the concept that all aspects of a company are influenced by its financial well-being and activities. The project asks the students to analyze and discuss the financial elements of a real company's successm from the stock price to the financial statements, and also to consider how those financial elements impact the decisions made by other parts of the company (marketing, management, etc.).
The project is complete; it can truly be used with very little preparation by the instructor! We have included an Instructor Manual that outlines for the instructor how to implement the project, discussion questions to drive thinking in class, and suggestions on how to grade each step of the project. We have also created a PowerPoint presentation that gives students the background and conceptual understand of the stock market and what stocks and financials mean to business. Lastly, we have included pre-created assignments for every step of the project that instructors can hand out in class or send their student to the web site to download.
